After returning from the ocean row I began rowing wih the master's group at Oak Ridge. I realized that a large number of my former rowing peers where still in the area and wanted to race, but had no outlet in which to do so. To meet the needs of this group of rowers I've started the Tennessee Athletic Club.
We're a group of Club and Master's level rowers in the greater Knoxville Area who train remotely based on a purposeful and pre-set schedule. We meet only for socials, boat line-up practices, and for races. The structure of this team allows those with busy schedules and lives to still race with a fast crew, to enjoy a team atmosphere, and the continue purpose driven training while still being able to live the rest of their lives.
